What is lights-out.ai?

lights-out.ai is a platform and a concept for building tailored AI solutions in e-commerce. We provide the infrastructure, the security, and the method so your team can build the solutions that fit your business exactly, safely and with minimum technical debt. lights-out.ai is a partnership between Spinout, Aurora Insight, and Partnersense, among others.

What is the difference between the three levels?

Entry is the entry level for proving value in 4 to 8 weeks, with a command center that brings together data from up to five source systems, replacing manual copy pasting and excel work. Your own Supabase database (PostgreSQL). Source code backed up via GitHub. Best-effort availability.

Standard is where you replace SaaS systems like CRM, PIM, and BI with tailored solutions and start handling customer data in a GDPR-safe way. Dedicated PostgreSQL on Azure via Partnersense Cloud. Daily backup with 30-day retention. 99.5% uptime SLA.

Enterprise is where agents and workflows take over the repetitive work people do today, with a dedicated instance and token management. Dedicated custom-sized database. SSO, audit logging, compliance documentation. Custom SLA.

GitHub repository access is included on all tiers.

What's included and what's not?

The tier fee includes operations in Partnersense Cloud, the GuardRails quality and security framework, the FastTrack method, and support from the code agent (GuardRails) and the knowledge agent. The knowledge agent provides access to a curated knowledge base built from 100+ e-commerce implementations, available via Slack. Entry includes 10 hours of onboarding.

You also have access to support from our team. If an issue requires human involvement to resolve, that time is billed per hour.

What's not included: AI tokens (passed through at cost-efficient pricing), replacement of core systems like ERP or e-commerce platform, and kickoff (a separate one-time cost at the start).

How long does it take to get started?

The Entry package is in operation 4 to 8 weeks after you sign. Standard and Enterprise follow naturally when the value is proven and you are ready to move up.

Who is behind lights-out.ai?

lights-out.ai is not a single company. It is a partnership backed by a growing number of partners. Spinout handles sales, packaging, and invoicing. Aurora Insight drives implementation and builds the solutions with deep e-commerce expertise. Partnersense operates the platform and owns the security and technical quality in Partnersense Cloud.

What happens to our customer data?

In Standard and Enterprise, customer data and GDPR-sensitive data are handled in the Partnersense database. In Enterprise we can guarantee a dedicated, GDPR-compliant environment with strong isolation of particularly sensitive business data.

How do AI tokens work?

In Entry and Standard, AI tokens are passed through transparently at cost-efficient pricing. You pay separately for your consumption. In Enterprise, we handle procurement and optimization of tokens for you, including volume discounts where they help. We also choose which model does which job, so powerful models run where they are needed and cheaper ones where they suffice.

Who owns the code we build?

You own all custom code we build for you, on all levels. In Entry, Standard, and Enterprise you have access to your own GitHub repository with all customizations. Generic patterns and reusable connectors within the lights-out.ai platform are owned by lights-out.ai. lights-out.ai retains ownership of the platform's core code, GuardRails, and shared modules.

What happens if we want to end the engagement?

Entry and Standard have a 3-month minimum term with 1 month's notice thereafter. Enterprise has a 12-month minimum term. In the open book model (an Enterprise alternative), IP for each savings item transfers to you after 18 months, which gives you a proven migration path.

Does lights-out.ai take over our staff or our processes?

No. We build automation and can take operational and SLA responsibility for it working technically, but we don't step in as staffing or BPO. Your people stay in your company. It becomes more efficient and different, not replaced.

Legal

All agreements are in English, governed by Swedish law, with disputes settled by Stockholm District Court.
